25th Street Festival In Pokhara

Every new year is celebrated in Lakeside,Pokhara to welcome and make foreigners feel special. Tourism sector developed English new year and Christmas the foreign culture like our own in this town and also the whole country is following the same. People not only from Nepal but also from distant places of India and China come to join this festive season every year. The streets were full of tourists from many countries.The Town remained opened whole night in the mid night on 31st,2023. There were more than 500,000 people in the street mid night saying just seeing off 2023 and welcoming new year 2024.

People were enjoying restaurant dishes on the street. Some were drinking .The theme of the festival is 'Eat and Enjoy on the street '.Many people were enjoying on the street whole night. This year it was all a peaceful event. Police did not interfere opening of the event whole night.It was celebrated for five days.Room price is little higher than double or triple than usual.But the cultural shows of more than 60 tribes and different dances ,dresses and traditional equipments show during festival remains worth watching on the first inauguration day.

We could see people from China ,India and USA doing trade apart from local people to such a huge crowd fir 5 days. It remained good for business owners from other countries and also remained spectacular for Tourists.
