Hire a taxi, motor bike, car or take a sight seeing bus in Pokahra ?

Many people prefer to hire motor bike and scooter to a car. They are a lot easier and cheaper.On top of that, favorable climate of moderate temperature allows you to enjoy fresh air excluding some busy areas of cities. It would be the first choice of many foreigners as well. However, Nepalese government is not allowing to rent out motor bikes and scooters recently. Traffic police are mobilized to stop this.Incase any rider on a rented bike is checked by a policemen , the rider or the owner needs to pay out tarrif as much as Rs 2000.  But this adds challenges to people who are doing this business for more than thirty years. Now a newly emerged ride sharing companies like In-Drive ,Pathao and Uber also want to function in the same city.This is challenging the business of Taxi as well. That'swhy , all three parties namely Bike rental group  Ride sharing apps and Taxi all are protesting time amd often with different interests. Taxi union wants to boycott Ride sharing group as they think their stake of business is taken away. However , ride sharing captains have their own story of livelihood. And Bike rental group wants to make it a legalized business and they want to pay the tax TP government. So , it has been a very complicated issue right now.

Government held a discussion with all three groups recently. The aim is to settle all them.But no fixed decision has been given. It is wise for those who are hiring bike to be prepared to pay the tarrif beforehand or they change bike to other forms of transport system. What can be alternative to motor bikes or scooter then ?

Well, people can hire a car or a van depending on the number of passengers. Or, they can go  sight seeing on  a bus .It will be very cheap. Go to almost more than half of a dozen spots in rs. 750 is a good option. Those spots are in different directions and are very far from one another.You won't regret. It also saves you from accidents. We see many foreigners who get into trouble due to road traffic accidents. Accidents may be more here as they are not accustomed to the road and traffic rules here.

If someone is so fond of biking ,then going to mustang or ther long journey will be a fun. You will enjoy powerful bikes like Bullet on mountains and valleys on the way to mustang. It will take you to Himalay.You will go across several rivers

 You will see the Nepalese villages and old culture on mountains. You will see flora and fauna. It will be a Two day journey.There you won't encounter traffic on the way. Well, it's a suggestion .Choice is upto you.
